Pesuohjesymbolit selitettyinä
Hoito-ohjelaput käyttävät viittä perusmuotoa: pesuammetta, kolmiota, neliötä, silitysrautaa ja ympyrää. Pisteet lisäävät lämpöä, rasti kieltää toimenpiteen. Kun osaat lukea muodot, jokainen lappu on ennustettavissa.

Huomautukset
- Pisteet tarkoittavat aina lämpötilaa: yksi = matala, kaksi = keskitaso, kolme = korkea.
- Viisi muotoa (pesuamme, kolmio, neliö, silitysrauta, ympyrä) esiintyy tässä järjestyksessä useimmissa EU/US-lapuissa.
- Kun pesu- ja kemiallisen pesun symbolit ovat molemmat yliviivattu, vaate vaatii yleensä ammattimaista märkäpesua.
Usein kysytyt kysymykset
- Mitä pesuamme-symboli, jossa on 30, tarkoittaa?
- Pesukonepesu enintään 30 °C:ssa — kylmä pesu, joka sopii useimmille synteettisille kuiduille ja tummille väreille.
- Voinko kuivata rumpukuivauksella, jos neliössä on vain ympyrä?
- Kyllä — ympyrä neliön sisällä tarkoittaa, että rumpukuivaus on sallittu; sisällä olevat pisteet asettavat lämpötilan tason.
- Mitä yliviivattu kolmio tarkoittaa?
- Älä käytä valkaisuainetta, minkään tyyppistä. Käytä pesuainetta ilman valkaisuaineita.
