Vysvětlení symbolů péče o prádlo
Štítky péče používají pět základních tvarů: vaničku na praní, trojúhelník, čtverec, žehličku a kruh. Tečky přidávají teplo, kříž zakazuje úkon. Jakmile umíte číst tvary, každý štítek je předvídatelný.

- Tečky vždy znamenají teplotu: jedna = nízká, dvě = střední, tři = vysoká.
- Pět tvarů (vanička, trojúhelník, čtverec, žehlička, kruh) se na většině evropských a amerických štítků objevuje v tomto pořadí.
- Když jsou symboly praní i chemického čištění přeškrtnuty oba, oděv obvykle vyžaduje profesionální mokré čištění.
